Dixie Chicken

Ingredient:

1 frying chicken (cut in parts), 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk (make by adding lemon juice or vinegar to milk - 1 tbsp. per), Salt, Corn flake crumbs, Ground (rubbed) sage, 4 tbsp. melted butter.


Method:

At first, salt chicken pieces. Dip in buttermilk, then coat with corn flake crumbs. The next thing you need to do, sprinkle a little sage on each piece. Arrange in a single layer in a well buttered pan. Pour melted butter over each piece. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour.
